Active Power Filter (APF) System
CoEpo-APF series active power filters are connected to the power system in parallel. The system data is collected in real-time through an external sampling loop. The internal core computing chip analyzes the harmonic component data and controls the IGBT. High-frequency switching outputs a current with the same magnitude and opposite direction to the harmonic current, effectively canceling harmonics and ensuring grid stability.

Professional Structure: Features reasonable layout, reliable wiring, and isolation between control power and strong current for enhanced stability. The independent air duct design ensures sensitive components are protected.
Human-Computer Interaction
Our APF interaction system supports both 4.3-inch built-in LCD touch screens for local management and external 7/10-inch centralized monitoring units. This allows for real-time monitoring of electrical parameters, harmonic data, and fault alarms.
Applications & Case Studies
Industrial Inverter Management
A chemical plant utilizing high-power pump equipment faced severe harmonic distortion (35%) due to frequency converters. After installing our APF solution, the total harmonic distortion dropped to approximately 5%, restoring the power grid environment.
Supermarket Power Optimization
A commercial building experienced N-phase cable heating due to 3rd harmonics from LED lighting. After treatment, the N-phase current dropped from 251.4A to 17.2A, and the total harmonic distortion decreased from 47.2% to 4.6%.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. What is the primary function of an Active Power Filter?
The APF is designed to filter harmonic currents in real-time, provide reactive power compensation, and correct three-phase imbalances to ensure power quality.
2. How fast does the APF respond to power system changes?
The full response time of our system is 10ms, allowing it to maintain the power system in an ideal state with high efficiency.
3. Can the APF be installed in limited space?
Yes, our modular design supports both rack-mounted and wall-mounted installation, and its high power density allows it to fit into compact cabinets as small as 600mm width and depth.
4. Is the equipment easy to maintain?
The modular design and independent air duct construction ensure that key components are protected and easy to access, simplifying maintenance and installation.
5. What harmonics can the APF handle?
Our system can filter out 2 to 50 harmonics, allowing you to choose the harmonic order arbitrarily within this range to achieve the best filtering effect.
