Three phase passive harmonic filter active power filter apf 380v 400v 200kvar

Product Description

Three phase passive harmonic filter active power filter APF
⚡ Product Description
The wide application of nonlinear power equipment produces a lot of distorted current harmonics, which cause harmonic voltage when flowing in power grid. This harmonic pollution threatens the safety and stability of power system seriously. Together with electromagnetic interference, power factor reduction, are the three major public hazards for power system.
Harmonic Filter Application
Active power filter (APF/AHF for short) is a perfect comprehensive solution to power quality problems with power grid such as harmonic wave (can filter 2nd to 50th harmonic interference completely), reactive power, and 3 phase load unbalance. APF is connected in parallel in power grid, to detect the harmonic wave in power grid in real time, generate the reverse-phase compensation current through the converter, and dynamically filter the harmonic wave in power grid.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions
What is the main function of an Active Power Filter (APF)?
The APF is designed to identify and compensate for harmonic currents in real-time. It filters the 2nd to 50th harmonics, corrects three-phase imbalance, and provides reactive power compensation to improve power factor.
How fast does the APF respond to load changes?
Our APF features an instantaneous response time of less than 0.1ms and a full compensation response time of less than 10ms, making it ideal for rapidly changing non-linear loads.
Can multiple units be used together for larger capacities?
Yes, up to 12 modules can be connected in parallel. They can be centrally controlled via a single FPGA controller to meet high-capacity harmonic compensation requirements.
Does the APF require a specific grid impedance?
No, the output filter uses an LCL structure which is adaptable to any on-site grid system impedance. This design prevents resonance and ensures the safety of the installation.
What happens if the system harmonics exceed the APF capacity?
The APF includes a reliable current-limiting link. If the system's harmonic current is higher than the device's capacity, it will automatically limit its output to 100% capacity to protect itself from damage.
Is the device protected against power surges or lightning?
Yes, the input end of the active filter is equipped with a military-grade lightning surge protection device to safeguard the internal components against voltage spikes.
